Cornus florida 'Old Gold' is a small, deciduous tree with foliage that emerges golden yellow in spring, then ages to become an antique gold colour in summer. The leaves develop pale-pink tones in autumn before falling. The foliage in spring is also adorned with masses of small, white flowers as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Cornus Old Gold is commonly included in mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, used to border an entrance, maintained in a courtyard garden, grown as a specimen, or included in cottage gardens.
