Cordyline baueri, commonly known as Bauer’s Cabbage Tree, is a striking evergreen plant native to the South Pacific and well-suited to New Zealand gardens. It features long, arching green leaves on a single or multi-stemmed trunk, creating a bold, tropical look. Growing up to 3 metres tall, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Hardy and low-maintenance, it’s ideal for coastal gardens, tropical-themed landscapes, or as a container specimen.

Cordyline baueri Care Tips

Plant in full sun to partial shade, ensuring the soil is well-drained. Water regularly during establishment, then only in dry periods.
