Agonis flexuosa

Willow Myrtle, Weeping Myrtle

Agonis flexuosa, commonly known as Willow Myrtle or Peppermint Tree, is a medium-sized, evergreen tree with great aesthetic appeal. The tree becomes adorned with clusters of small, white flowers through late spring and summer which affords a fabulous display. The show is accentuated with the glossy green leaves which are held on semi-pendulous branches as it grows to 10 m tall and 5 m wide. Agonis flexuosa is commonly gown as a specimen, used for avenue and park plantings, or included in coastal gardens.
