Acer palmatum Osakazuki is an impressive Japanese Maple featuring a rich display of colourful foliage held on gently arching branches. Leaves on this deciduous tree emerge a pink-bronze colour in spring, age to green, then turn a bright, scarlet red colour in autumn before falling. It grows with a rounded habit to about 3 m tall and the same wide. Acer Osakazuki makes for a magnificent specimen and is ideal for mixed plantings, growing for autumn colour, planting around outdoor living areas, or using anywhere the spectacular colour can be enjoyed.

Acer palmatum Osakazuki is an impressive Japanese Maple featuring a rich display of colourful foliage held on gently arching branches. Leaves on this deciduous tree emerge a pink-bronze colour in spring, age to green, then turn a bright, scarlet red colour in autumn before falling. The autumn show is quite spectacular. It grows with a rounded habit to about 3 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a sheltered, well-drained site. It is tolerant of frosts, cool climates, some wind, and will grow on a range of soil types, but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry. Acer Osakazuki makes for a magnificent specimen and is ideal for mixed plantings, growing for autumn colour, planting around outdoor living areas, or using anywhere the spectacular colour can be enjoyed.
