Acer palmatum Orange Dream is an impressive Japanese Maple featuring a rich display of delicate foliage held on upright branches. Leaves on this deciduous tree emerge an orange-red in spring, age to a dark green, then turn yellow in the autumn before falling. Masses of tiny, red flowers emerge in spring and are followed by red fruits in summer. Trees will typically grow to 4 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best in full sun on a well-drained site. They will grow on a range of soil types but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry.
