Acer palmatum Goshiki Kotohime is an unusual, dwarf, Japanese Maple featuring a rich display of delicate foliage. New foliage on this deciduous tree emerges a mix of pink, cream, light yellow, and red. The foliage ages to dark green before turning orange-red in autumn and falling. Trees will typically grow to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best in full sun on a well-drained site. They will grow on a range of soil types but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry.
