Commonly known as the Ashleaf Maple, this variety is grown for its lovely foliage and great form. The leaves on this deciduous tree emerge with dominant cream tones in spring, age to become darker green with cream variegation, then develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows with an upright and pyramidal shape to reach 15 m tall and 7 m wide. This Maple grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. The Ashleaf Maple makes for a lovely specimen and is ideal for parks, large gardens, and avenue planting or anywhere a stunning tree is required.
