The leaves emerge a fresh-green colours, age to dark green, then turn brilliant shades of red and orange in autumn before falling. It grows with an upright and conical growth habit and eventually reaches 12 m tall and 8 m wide. Acer Keithsform is a magnificent specimen tree that is ideal for mixed plantings, large gardens, or for using as a shade tree.

Acer Keithsform, commonly known as the Plane-Leaved Maple, is a medium sized, deciduous tree with fantastic foliage. The leaves emerge a fresh-green colours, age to dark green, then turn brilliant shades of red and orange in autumn before falling. Clusters of small, orange-yellow flowers are borne during late spring. It grows with an upright and conical growth habit and eventually reaches 12 m tall and 8 m wide. Best growth is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained site with young trees protected from wind while they establish. It will grow on a range of soil types but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry. Acer Keithsform is a magnificent specimen tree that is ideal for mixed plantings, large gardens, or for using as a shade tree.
