Acer Earthfire Details

Acer Earthfire is variety of Japanese Maple that features a rich display of delicate foliage. Leaves on this deciduous tree emerge red and pink with green veins. They age to red-green in summer before turning a brilliant red in autumn and falling. Small, purple flowers are followed by red fruits in summer. Trees will typically grow to 2 m tall and the same wide, performing best in full sun on a well-drained site. They will grow on a range of soil types but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry. Acer Earthfire is a magnificent specimen that is ideal for mixed plantings, large gardens, planting against a stark wall, or for growing anywhere the spectacular colours can be enjoyed.
