The leaves on this deciduous tree emerge blood red, age to green, then develop impressive yellow-gold tones in autumn before falling. It will grow on a range of soil types but will struggle at the extremes of wet and dry. Acer cappadocicum rubrum is perfect for growing as a specimen tree in parks and larger gardens.
