Acacia pravissima, commonly known as Ovens Wattle, is an eye-catching, small tree that grows to 6 m tall and 5 m wide. From mid-winter through spring flower buds open to give the plant a gentle, yellow haze and as the feathery flowers emerge. The pendulous and drooping branches hold small, mid-green leaves. Together the flowers and foliage provide an outstanding show. This plant prefers to be grown in full sun on a warm, sheltered position which is well-drained. Acacia pravissima is commonly grown as specimen, for shelter, or as a backdrop for smaller plants.
