This impressive succulent grows as a rosette of thick, dark green-grey leaves. They are leathery and radiate outwards. It typically grows to 25 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained soil or media with infrequent watering. This succulent does not like over-watering and can be damaged by heavy frost. It is commonly maintained in a container, included in rock and Mediterranean gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas.
