Faucaria tigrina, commonly known as the Tiger Jaw succulent, is an impressive plant. It features thick leaves with tiger-like teeth around the edges. The plant is adorned with showy, yellow flowers during autumn and winter. Together the foliage and flowers make this a spectacular plant. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and 15 cm wide, and performs best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site with good air flows. Faucaria tigrina is commonly grown as an unusual, yet very interesting potted plant. It is well suited to offices and other warm spaces. It is also included in rock gardens or other outdoor areas where it won’t get frosted.
