Echeveria Chocolate is a succulent that grows as a short and stout rosette of succulent, dark purple-brown leaves. A stem carrying red flowers rises well above the foliage in autumn. It typically grows to 25 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in a full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cold environments, coastal conditions, and dry periods. Echeveria Chocolate makes a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens or planted in areas where something hardy and a little unusual is wanted. The wonderful leaf shape and colour makes this a stand out succulent.
