Aloe thraskii, commonly known as the Dune Aloe, is a succulent that carries fleshy, green-grey leaves arranged in a large rosette, held off an upright stem. The foliage is complemented with yellow flowers from winter through until spring. This sculptural plant typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and protected from frost.
