Aloe speciosa, commonly known at the Tilt-Head Aloe, is a handsome succulent grown for its lovely form and foliage. It grows with a solitary stem carrying decorative, blue-green leaves that have a pale red margin. Stems rise above the foliage in winter to bear large and showy clusters of red flowers as it grows to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide. Aloe speciosa provides year-round appeal and is commonly used in mixed planting or anywhere an easy care and interesting plant is required. It is also well suited to being included in Mediterranean themed gardens or planted for its architectural appeal.

Aloe speciosa, commonly known at the Tilt-Head Aloe, is a handsome succulent grown for its lovely form and foliage. It grows with a solitary stem carrying decorative, blue-green leaves that have a pale red margin. Stems rise above the foliage in winter to bear large and showy clusters of red flowers. It can grow to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide, and performs when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is drought tolerant and will do well in coastal environments once established.
