Aloe capitata is a variety of Aloe grown for its interesting foliage and flowers. It produces a rosette of fleshy, blue-green leaves that are often flushed with red or pink. The leaf margins are often red with brown teeth. The foliage is complemented with stems that rise above the foliage in winter to bear small, yellow-orange flowers as it grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Aloe capitata is commonly used as a feature plant, included in coastal and Mediterranean gardens, maintained in a container, or planted in the drier areas of the garden.

Aloe capitata is a variety of Aloe grown for its interesting foliage and flowers. It produces a rosette of fleshy, blue-green leaves that are often flushed with red or pink.
