Agave Blue Flame Details

Agave Blue Flame is grown for its foliage and hardy nature. This succulent produces rosettes of large and broad, fleshy, blue leaves. The leaves protrude outwards and have a gentle twist, akin to a flame. It typically grows to 90 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when grown on a well-drained soil in full sun. This variety is tolerant of dry conditions and coastal environments but should be protected from frost. Agave Blue Flame makes an attractive feature and is great for including in mixed plantings, rock gardens, Mediterranean themed gardens, and container growing. It makes for a great contrast with other plant colours and leaf forms.
