Aeonium Velour Details

Aeonium Velour is a succulent grown for its symmetrical rosettes of variegated, fleshy leaves held on short stems. The leaves are glossy and a dark chocolate and purple colour with the centre of the rosette tending to be light green. A flower spike will sometimes emerge during summer from the centre of the rosette to bear small, pale-yellow flowers. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. Plants are tolerant of drought conditions, coastal environments, and light frost.
