Zieria prostrata is a low growing shrub, often used as a groundcover, and favoured for its pretty flowers. Through spring and summer, it bears masses of small, light pink flowers which are complemented with small, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and 80 cm wide, and grows best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost once established, periods of dry, coastal environments, and will do well on most soil conditions except the extremes of wet and dry. Zieria prostrata is commonly used as a groundcover, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools, or maintained in a container.
