Yucca Color Guard, commonly known as Adam’s Needle, is a variegated, evergreen shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. It features sharp-tipped, sword-shaped leaves that have a dark-green edge and bright yellow centre. In summer a flower spike rises above the foliage to bear masses of pendulous, cream-coloured flowers. It grows as a clump to about 1 m tall and the same wide.
