Yucca Banana Split, commonly known as the Spanish Dagger Yucca, is a variegated, evergreen shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. It features sharp-tipped, sword-shaped leaves that have a broad, yellow edge and a green-grey centre. In summer a flower spike rises above the foliage to bear masses of pendulous, cream-coloured flowers as it grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Yucca Banana Split is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, or grown in a container.
