Pruning Viburnum 'Eve Price'

Viburnum 'Eve Price' responds well to light pruning, which helps maintain its compact, bushy form. The best time to prune is just after flowering in late spring, once the white blooms have faded. Remove spent flower heads, tidy any straggly growth, and cut back lightly to shape. For hedges, you can trim more firmly, but avoid cutting into old wood as it may not reshoot. Regular light pruning encourages denser growth and more prolific flowering next season.

Planting and Care Tips for Viburnum 'Eve Price'

Plant Viburnum 'Eve Price' in full sun to part shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and mix in compost to boost soil quality. Water deeply after planting and regularly during the first year. Mulching helps retain moisture and suppresses weeds. Once established, it's low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Feed in spring with a balanced fertiliser, and prune lightly after flowering to maintain a neat, compact shape.
