Viburnum japonicum

Viburnum japonicum features impressive foliage and showy flowers. Pink flower buds open to reveal showy clusters of mildly fragrant, white flowers during spring. The glossy, dark green foliage is lush and provides a great backdrop to the flowers as it grows to 2 m tall and the same wide. Viburnum japonicum Details

Viburnum japonicum features impressive foliage and showy flowers. Pink flower buds open to reveal showy clusters of mildly fragrant, white flowers during spring. The flowers are great for attracting bees and birds and are followed by glossy, red berries. The glossy, dark green foliage is lush and provides a great backdrop to the flowers. This evergreen typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site, though it is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, moderate frost, and cool climates.
