Tibouchina organensis, commonly known as the Night Princess Flower, is grown for both its foliage and beautiful flowers. It grows as an evergreen shrub and carries soft looking, green foliage that is edged purple and flushed with red. The flowers are lilac and produced in abundance generally from summer through autumn with sporadic flowering through the other seasons as it grows to about 3 m tall and the same wide. Tibouchina organensis is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown in a container, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.

Tibouchina organensis, commonly known as the Night Princess Flower, is grown for both its foliage and beautiful flowers. It grows as an evergreen shrub and carries soft looking, green foliage that is edged purple and flushed with red. The flowers are lilac and produced in abundance generally from summer through autumn with sporadic flowering through the other seasons. It grows compactly to about 3 m tall and the same wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when grown on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of dry periods and mild frost. Tibouchina organensis is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown in a container, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
