Syringa vulgaris Primrose is grown for its showy flowers from late spring through summer. During this time, it produces stunning clusters of cream-yellow flowers with an elegant fragrance. These are beautiful and are great for attracting butterflies. The foliage comprises fresh green, heart-shaped leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It grows upright with a somewhat loose habit to about 3 m tall and the same wide though can be trimmed as necessary.
