Strobilanthes anisophyllus, commonly known as Goldfussia, is an evergreen shrub grown for its lush foliage. It features dark green leaves which are stained with a black-purple tint and held densely. Small and pretty, blue flowers are produced in spring amidst the foliage as it grows to 1 m tall and 1.3 m wide. Strobilanthes anisophyllus is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or mass planted as a groundcover.
