Spiraea Pink Ice grown for its pretty flowers and striking foliage. White flowers, borne as flat-topped clusters, coat the plant through summer. The green leaves are heavily speckled with white with tinges of pink, though this tends to be less pronounced on older leaves. This deciduous shrub grows with an upright, mounded form to about 1 m tall and the same wide. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates. Spiraea Pink Ice is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, maintained in a container, trimmed into a hedge, or mass planted for a stunning display.
