Questions and Answers

Have a question about Sophora 'Dragon's Gold'? We are here to help.

Hi. I have one of these, About 5 years, old, near full size. 2 months ago shifted location, but not far and similar aspect to previously. Kept well watered after shoddy and through recent dry spell in Auckland. But recently maybe one third of leaves have died and fallen. Is this normal for Autumn? Thanks

Sounds like a stress response which is normal. Keep up the watering until you see new growth appearing is all you can do.

1. Would this particular Kowhai do well in a 3/4 wine barrel? 2. The average plant height of the 35 L container is 90 cm on the website ($417.10). Is the height correctly stated? Thank you

Hi, yes it will do well in a wine barrel and the height is as stated.
