Rosmarinus 'Pink Remembrance' (Pink Rosemary)

How to grow Rosmarinus 'Pink Remembrance' in NZ

Plant Pink Rosemary in full sun with free-draining soil for the best flowering and flavour. It tolerates poor to moderately fertile soils and coastal conditions. Water regularly during the first year to establish roots, then only during prolonged dry spells. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage fresh, bushy growth. Avoid over-fertilising, as it can reduce both flavour and bloom quality.

Rosmarinus 'Pink Remembrance' care tips

Ensure plants have good air circulation to reduce fungal risk. Avoid waterlogged soils, as rosemary prefers drier conditions. Harvest sprigs regularly for cooking, which also keeps the plant compact. This variety is frost-hardy in most NZ climates and requires minimal care.

Rosmarinus 'Pink Remembrance' size, spacing, and growth rate

Pink Rosemary typically grows 80–100 cm tall and up to 1 m wide, forming a dense, rounded shrub. Space 80 cm to 1 m apart for hedge or border planting. Growth is moderate, with plants responding well to light trimming.
