Rhododendron Snow Lady is a smaller variety that features masses of pure white flowers in spring. It is reasonably fast growing with an erect growth habit, bearing dark green leaves that contrast with the flowers perfectly. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frosts but should be protected from harsh frosts when young. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Rhododendron Snow Lady is commonly included in mixed plantings, added to cottage or “white” gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or grown anywhere the beauty of this plant can be enjoyed.
