Pyrethropsis hosmariensis (otherwise known as Chrysanthemum hosmariense or Leucanthemum hosmariense) is a shrub that features interesting foliage and flowers. The sliver-green leaves serve as a wonderful backdrop to white, daisy-like flowers produced through summer and autumn. It grows as a low mound to about 30 cm tall and 50 cm, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost once established, cool climates, coastal environments, and periods of dry. Leucanthemum hosmariense is commonly used in borders, added to mixed plantings, included in cottage gardens, or mass planted as a ground cover.
