Pseudowintera colorata Winter Fire is a NZ native shrub that features striking foliage. The rounded leaves are red-pink with purple tones and blotches of darker red. It grows compactly to about 2 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site.
