Pseudowintera Cherry Ripe is a NZ native shrub that features striking foliage. The leaves are aromatic, narrow, and have tones of red and plum purple. Small, fragrant, green, star-like flowers are borne in spring and complement the foliage nicely. It grows compactly to about 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site.
