“Nixons Fancy” is a compact shrub grown for its impressive flowering. The plant becomes adorned with masses of sweetly fragrant, pale pink-mauve flowers through spring and summer. These sit neatly above the green-grey leaves. This evergreen typically grows to 75 cm tall and the same wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and will tolerate mild frost and short periods of dry. “Nixons Fancy” makes a fantastic addition to a mixed planting. It is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or used to provide vibrant colour to an area.
