Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Yellow Wave’ is grown for its colourful and glossy foliage. The leaves are yellow and green with a prominent wave-like appearance. It typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It is tolerant of most soil types except extreme wet and will grow in either full sun or partial shade. It tends to be more open and taller in shadier conditions. Pittosporum ‘Yellow Wave’ is both wind hardy and coastal tolerant, and is ideal for shelter, screening, and hedging.
