Pittosporum ‘Silver Pillar’ is a compact and bushy variety of Pittosporum and is grown for its impressive foliage. This NZ native features small leaves that are variegated mid-green with a cream margin and held on dark stems. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary which will stimulate new growth and keep the plant dense. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types, except extreme wet or dry, some shade, coastal conditions, dry periods, and moderate frost.
