Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Mellow Yellow’ is grown for its gorgeous and bright foliage. The dense foliage on this shrub is made up of small and rounded, wavy leaves that are predominantly yellow with green margins. This NZ native, evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types except extreme wet and tends to be more open in shadier conditions. This hardy plant is tolerant of coastal conditions and is ideal for shelter, screening, and hedging.
