Pittosporum 'Marjorie Channon' Details

Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Marjorie Channon’ is grown for its attractive, variegated foliage. It features rounded leaves which are light green with a cream-white margin and flushed with pink. These are held on near black stems. This NZ native, evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types except extreme wet and tends to be more open in shadier conditions. Pittosporum ‘Marjorie Channon’ is tolerant of coastal conditions and is ideal for shelter, screening, and hedging. It makes an attractive feature and is often used as a backdrop to other NZ native plants.
