Pittosporum 'Limelight' Details

Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Limelight’ is a NZ native shrub that features dark green leaves with a lime green centre, held densely on upright stems. This evergreen typically grows to 5 m tall and 2 m wide and can easily be contained with trimming. It performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of most soil types, except extreme wet. It is also hardy to coastal conditions, moderate frost, some wind, and dry periods though does benefit from protection while establishing. Pittosporum ‘Limelight’ is commonly included in coastal gardens, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, trimmed into a hedge, or planted for shelter and screening.
