Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Humpty Dumpty’ is a dwarf variety of Pittosporum grown for its attractive foliage and tight growth habit. Small, bright, lime-green foliage is produced on this shrub as it grows with a tight, ‘ball’ shaped habit. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types except extreme wet and will grow in shaded conditions though it will become less dense. It is also tolerant of coastal conditions, periods of dry hardy, and frost once established. Pittosporum ‘Humpty Dumpty’ is commonly included in a mixed planting, added to a border, or grown in a container.
