Pittosporum 'Green Cushion' Details

Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Green Cushion’ is a smaller variety of Pittosporum and is grown for its fresh foliage and compact form. It carries glossy, lime green leaves held on short stems as it grows densely to 75 cm tall and 50 cm wide. This evergreen performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site though is tolerant of most soil types except, extreme wet or dry. It is also tolerant of frost, coastal conditions, and cold environments. Pittosporum ‘Green Cushion’ is ideal for trimming into balls, including in mixed plantings, planting around the pool, or living area, or maintaining in a container. It is becoming increasingly popular with NZ gardeners.
