Pachystegia insignis minor, commonly known as the Marlborough Rock Daisy, is a NZ native shrub grown for its showy flowers and foliage. It features leathery, green leaves that often have a thin layer of felt which gives the leaves a grey colouring. Showy, white flowers with a yellow centre are borne on slender stalks above the foliage in summer as it grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Pachystegia insignis minor is commonly included in a mixed planting or border, used in rock gardens, added to coastal plantings, used in native plantings, or mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank.

The Rock Daisy, Pachystegia insignis minor, is a NZ native shrub grown for its showy flowers and foliage. It features leathery, green leaves that often have a thin layer of felt which gives the leaves a grey colouring. Showy, white flowers with a yellow centre are borne on slender stalks above the foliage in summer. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, exposed positions, and dry periods. This Rock Daisy is commonly included in a mixed planting or border, used in rock gardens, added to coastal plantings, used in native plantings, or mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank.
