Tolerates drought and salt spray, making it ideal for harsh environments. The dense foliage provides habitat for beneficial insects and supports biodiversity.

Pachystegia insignis minor Care Tips

Water consistently while young and reduce watering once established. Mulch around base to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth and encourage reblooming. Monitor regularly for scale and treat if necessary. Minimal feeding needed in nutrient-poor soils.

Plant Size and Spacing

Grows to 1 m tall and wide. Space plants 1-1.5 m apart to ensure good air circulation and healthy growth. Appropriate spacing prevents overcrowding and supports long-term plant health, especially in mass plantings or borders.
