Ozothamnus Royal Flush Details

Ozothamnus Royal Flush is a shrub grown for its prolific flowering and drought tolerance. Clusters of pink flowers with a paper-like appearance are borne through spring and age to become white. It will continue to flower in the other seasons, albeit to a lesser extent than in spring. These are produced above the fine, dark green foliage. It grows with a dense and rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this evergreen are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of extended dry periods, coastal environments, and moderate frost. Ozothamnus Royal Flush is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, added to cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and barbecue areas, or maintained in a container. This is a great for using in the drier areas of the garden where other plants struggle. The flowers are often used in dried flower arrangements.
