Olearia nummularifolia, commonly known as the New Zealand Daisy Bush, is a medium sized, NZ native shrub which is compact and has an almost box hedge appearance. The small leaves are thick and oval, and are a yellow-green colour. Small, white, daisy-like flowers are carried at the tips of branches through summer. This plant typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, a range of soil conditions, wind, and periods of dry. Olearia nummularifolia is commonly included in a mixed planting, revegetation planting, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
