“Harbor Belle” is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its colourful foliage. New foliage is burgundy red and ages to green but still with the burgundy tones. As autumn and winter progress, the burgundy colouring intensifies. Small, white flowers are borne in summer which are followed by bright red berries in autumn and winter. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, some wind, short periods of dry, and coastal conditions.
