'Harbor Belle' Nandina landscape uses

Nandina ‘Harbor Belle’ is ideal for low hedges, borders, and mass plantings where compact form and year-round foliage colour are desired. Its dense growth and rich seasonal tones make it perfect for adding structure and contrast in garden beds, coastal landscapes, and container displays.

How to grow and care for Nandina 'Harbor Belle' in NZ

To grow Nandina ‘Harbour Belle’ successfully in New Zealand, plant it in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. It thrives in a range of conditions, including coastal and frost-prone areas. Water the plant regularly while it establishes, then reduce the frequency as it matures. Mulching helps retain soil moisture and suppress weeds. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and vibrant foliage. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to shape and remove old stems if needed.
