“Flirt” is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its colourful foliage. The new foliage produced from spring through until autumn is a colourful red and ages to green. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, some wind, short periods of dry, and coastal environments. “Flirt” is a lovely plant that is commonly included in rock gardens, planting around outdoor living areas such as pools, included in a mixed or border planting, maintained in a container, or using anywhere a hardy and attractive shrub is desired.
