Luculia Fragrant Cloud is grown for its clusters of beautiful and fragrant flowers. It produces large clusters of striking, pink flowers through autumn and winter. These are carried above the dark green foliage and together with the foliage the display is outstanding. It grows as a deciduous shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide though in warmer climates it may remain evergreen. Best growth and flowering are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site and protected from heavy frosts. Luculia Fragrant Cloud is commonly used in mixed plantings, planted for winter colour, or planted anywhere the fragrance and beauty this plant affords can be enjoyed.
