Lonicera ‘Honey Hedge Lime’ is an evergreen shrub often used instead as an alternative to a Buxus hedge. It carries dense, upright branches that host small and glossy green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary, even down to 30 cm. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, and dry periods. Lonicera ‘Honey Hedge Lime’ is often used in NZ gardens for hedging and topiary, included in a mixed planting, or used to brighten up an area.
