Leucadendron Loving Memory Details

Leucadendron Loving Memory is a variety of Leucadendron grown for its amazing, Protea like flowers. The flowers which are held year-round are made up of spectacular, flame red bracts. It has a tidy, erect growth habit and carries mid-green foliage, typically reaching 1 m tall and the same wide. Best performance with this evergreen shrub is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. Plants will tend to be more open when grown in partial shade and flowering may be compromised. It will tolerate dry periods, coastal environments, and cool climates though harsh frost areas should be avoided. Leucadendron Loving Memory is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around barbecue or pool areas, used to complement other plant forms, maintained in a container, or planted to provide winter colour.
